Default Overhead console removal

How do I remove the overhead console without breaking it. I have a microphone on order and want to install it.

Here's the install instructions. Removal will obviously be the reverse.

Thanks, but it doesn't really tell me where to pry the overhead microphone cover / overhead light. The reinstall is part of the new larger console installation, which I am not getting.

I guess I could assume it doesn't matter where I pry, since Toyota doesn't specify where to pry in those instructions. Maybe I should try it before the microphone arrives so if I break it , the new one will be on it's way.

Ok I pried it, mostly from the back side. It has some very sturdy metal tension clips.. I was expecting plastic , and easily breakable, connectors. I easily snapped it back in place. Thanks for you help.

Ah, you meant the map light panel. Yeah, that just snaps off with some pulling, as you discovered.
