Default Please look at the pictured xB2 nose overlay - any interest?

Hi,

I'm trying to learn if xB2 people would be interested in this nose overlay design. I've been in communication with Andy at Blue Batmobile and getting your input would be really helpful.

NOTE: Only participate in this poll if you genuinely LIKE the 2008 Scion xB. For others, please pass this by.

Thanks much -- Trevor

I like the look, it's a little more subtle than the full overlay, and might look better than the full overlay for states that require keeping the front license plate.

It would be nice to see a front end photoshopped with this look that has a license plate and frame on it. Preferably in classic silver.

My one worry would be that because of aerodynamics, the leading edge of the overlay would peel up.

I'm personally a fan of the full overlay over this. Then again, as stated before the partial might be better for stated that require the front plate.

The aerodynamics I agree would be an issue with peal, Maybe if you continued the overlay just a centimeter or two over the bend?

with that section all you need is a small strip of vinyl which you can get for cheap at any sign shop. personally i dont see you guys making any money on this since anyone can probably pick up a piece for about $5

Default Front Overlay, uh NO but need one for rear bumper.

I used an $8 of good rattle can paint on my center, front bumper. I took my time with 4 light coats & the look is great!

I would think the vinyl type of overlay would be better suited on the rear bumper. Make it overlap about 5 mm past the edge & you have something. The Scion bumper overlay can be hard to find & the bumper definitely needs protection.

I'm looking for something to put on the rear bumper though.

Keeping in mind, of course, that this is an Ian design!

I like it... then again, it's my design. If Andy made this, I think it would get some sales.

Any further interest in either this overlay or a variation on it -- such as extending the bottom of the overlay further down towards the top of the bumper tow ports?
