So how do you change the bulbs in the fogs on a 2nd gen xB? Do you have to take the bumper off, or can they be accessed from below?

As fair as i can see you just gotta drop the splash guard and should have no problem getting to the bulbs......

dropping the splash guard is the way to go. Its about 12 10mm bolts, and that bottom plastic piece comes off and you'll be on your way.

Great, thanks for the answer. I just bought some extreme yellow xenon bulbs for the fogs and want to see just how "yellow" they actually are, and how they'll look with my 5000K HIDs. I'll jack up the front end and get under there later today.
Next will be figuring out how to wire the fogs to the park lights instead of the low beams...

^^ I want to figure out the same thing. I'd love to have my yellow HID fogs come on with the parking lights.

Oh, yeah - the xb2 OEM fogs take an H11 bulb.

Big Jim, are you running 3000K in your fogs? How do they look?
I'd love to run yellow HIDs once I get the fogs wired to the park lights.

I wondered how bright the 3000K would be in the fogs - thanks for letting us know you did get complaints.

I took all 14 10mm bolts off the splash guard - and can't get my fat hands between the radiator and the fog light housing to even pull the bulbs. I guess that's why someone said to pull the whole bumper? I have an RS 5.0 with the Kenstyle Body kit, so I'm not about to tackle that project today. Oh well, no yellow fogs yets.
