Default Rear bumper cover solutions?

Hey all,

I need a rear bumper cover as I load things/dogs in the XB and really don't want it getting scratched up. Does anyone have recommendations? I've read the OEM one is basically a sticker and that doesn't seem like it would add much protection to me. On my hatchbacks/wagons/suv's one can typically get a vinyl/rubber type cover. I found one on ebay that says it is for XB2s but shows a picture of a XD.

Any recommendations?

thanks!

I didn't purchase that same one from eBay. I instead purchased the stick-on black vinyl one for aesthetics as well as basic protection.

If you are loading items into your box frequently, I'd recommend using a rubber type bumper overlay. I load things seldom in my box, which is why I elected for the vinyl work.

Needless to say, a bumper protector looks great on the xB, and I especially like mine because it is simple and low profile. There's a few scratches on mine, which lets me know that it does its job!

Thanks, i actually found another thread (not in this exterior section for some reason) after i broadened my search.

I appreciate the input and just bought the big rubber bumper protector that curves over the end a bit.

This is the one you want; made by Bushwacker, and it rolls over the edge of the bumper:

Here's an old thread on it:

I bought this one:

similar to the Bushwacker model, but $30 less.
