Does anyone know if it would be possible to open these up and swap out the led's to brighter ones or to replace the dead ones?

 

Thats what I was going to do after the driver side tail light failed after13 months. You would have to break the seal where the clear plastic and entire housing joins. Looks like some kind of epoxy or evern thermal bond. I realized when the lights quit working because of the faulty electronics/boards just throw them away. Put my stock tails back in.

 

I noticed on mine that my drivers brake light led's about 90% of them are not working...wtf! I paid almost three bills for these things and they are less than a year old, what's the warranty on these things?

 

Apparently they've quit shipping these taillights because they're junk. We can't order them at our dealer anymore.

 

I wonder if they'll refund them to us if we bought them within the last month or two.

 

^x2, I had mine for about 9 months and they crapped out on me. I have a replacement set, and so far so good.
