Aloha, the back doors will still function as normal, so I'm not going to shave right now. Plus, I dont have the time to work on more mods as far as body wise. I get one dead line to finish this project, paint it and have it ready for the car show in El Paso on the 13th of July. I promised my sposors i will have it ready by then.

Aloha everybody,

ok, I worked on the window tracks today. I know this was a concern for many people watching this topic yea. Ok, so if all goes as planned, my XB should be able to except a flat window instead of paying huge bucks to have a curved window made, or use the option (which still might be if this no work) or using lexan glass.

I straightened the slightly curved window tracks using heat.

I also did the one inside the door, but I couldnt take a pics of it because of the angle and how dark it is down there. that one was a little more tuff for do.

the other day, I primered the bare metal so it wont rust while waiting for the body guy for begin.

Aloha,
Ok, I made the side windows today and installed them.

I'm gonna take them back out later on this week and tint them. the body work finally begins Friday, and we're hoping to be pau with it on sat, then next week it gets painted, the logos will be made and put back on, then I'll put the interior back in, then it'll be ready to go.

we still think you should shave those rear handles. from the looks of it you have to re paint that door anyway. might as well. already painting the quarters to.

I agree, and I plan on it in the future. I have to have this car ready for a show and a mag photo shoot by the 13th of July. And also we plan on driving there, one 8 hour drive and my 14yr old son will becoming with us. I want his to be able to enter and exit at will, without me having to pop the doors for him everytime he wants to go inside. And I don't want the project of run out of time, and have to go there with an.in finished project.
