window side deflectors...
i found out the hard way that we need these...it rained yestaerday...had the window open...and as i turned and stopped all the water on the roof came running down the drivers side and a lot of it stright pured into the whip :p anyone one if there is any out there yet? i contacted weather tech and told them that i can help with product testing :p ha!
Ok this may sound like im dumb. but can someone tell me whats the reason for driveing with your windows down when its raining. I fifure the car is new and Has AC. why would you roll your windows down when its raining..
I sell aftermarket parts for the XB nad sold tons of ES window visors for the 1st gen. Only wheni sold it to some one that was from the states there was a complaint about this same issue.. and the window visors didnt work and the rain still came in the car.. IN Hawaii it rains alot off and on and very humid. I told the guy of course rain will get into your car if your windows down.. IS this a Houlie thing to drive with your windows down when its raining?
I never rolled down my windows once yet and i had my car for 2 months.

It's a matter of: it rains, it stops raining, water sits on the roof, you take off, make any kind of turn and boom water falls into the windows. I usually despise deflectors, so I'll probably rely on AC more, but with most cars the rain just rolls off and dries up shortly after the rain fall allowing you to throw down the windows and catch some fresh air - something you'll want to wait on for a bit with an xb.
just a bad habit i have alwaly need a window open ,not all the way ,but just a bit so i can hear the wind its kind of soothing!!!! lol or maybe im just closterfobic?who knows my lexus did the same thing it just seams all toyota do this
