Someone on another forum bought them and said they were a total waste of money. He recommended buying the real OEM fogs.

Ebay foglights
I've got the ebay fog lites and they're fine except for the included 3-wire hard-wired switch, which is pure junk. The 4-wire PnP oem switch costs almost $50 so you'd be much better off just buying the oem fogs in the first place. I ended up buying the oem switch after being unable to find a suitable method of wiring the ebay switch without causing issues with the dimmer circuit. The ebay switch blew a fuse and fried my dimmer circuit when wired as correctly as possible.

It's an online Scion parts site run by a Scion dealership in Washington State. Like many other online sites, they rely on making $$ through a maximum # of sales at a minimal profit. Since they are a Scion dealership, I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them.

Perfect example of why oem is superior to eBay junk.

Now that I have the oem switch I could see how Toyota wired the darn thing but it's not worth the time. Normally you'd only need 3 wires but Toyo uses 4 and 2 of them seem to be tied into the dimmer circuit.

I wired the ebay switch the same as some diy I found. +12V headlamp to +12V, +12V switched to fog relay and gnd to gnd. The problem was that if I turned the dimmer switch down the fogs came on and blew a fuse under the steering wheel.

There are some good deals on ebay but this wasn't one of them.

Kind of late to chime in here, but i bought the fogs off ebay, the switch from trdsparks, and a yellow HID kit, and came out around 175.

Do you have any pics of it? I would like to see. Or are they the OEM fogs?

they're the oem style fogs that get installed in the lower grill area, with an OEM switch that I got from TRD Sparks, and a HID kit that I got from HIDExtra on here.

Been in for almost a year, and have no pics. maybe one day i'll get some. hahaha.

It's good to hear that I'm not the only person who hasn't had any problems with the ebay fogs in a year. There was a thread a while back with a lot of complaints about broken lenses but I suspect it was just typical rock damage.

Okay, the ebay fogs are ____! I'm convinced now. I just noticed today that one of my fog lenses is cracked and mine are mounted behind my Fig grill.

DO NOT BUY EBAY FOG LIGHTS!!!

You get what you pay for; you can't get $200 quality out of a $100 product.

Not hating Fred, just saying. Sorry to hear about your misfortune.

Sometimes you can but usually not. At least I saved $100 by buying a ND O2 sensor instead of the Toyota (ND) O2 sensor.
