Clutch pedal squeaking

I have an '09 xB and today, I experienced my clutch pedal squeaking while I'm depressing it. When it comes back up, it's fine. Would it be something within the transmission or something I can easily lube?

I answered my own question and it worked! Stopped squeaking.

Interesting, may have to check this out myself. But honestly, it is a relatively cheap new car and it will have some noises.
