The only CAI that is CARB legal is the TRD.

^^^he's right. The pipe design of the AEM and Injen is much more aesthetically pleasing than the TRD.

I tried both the TRD and AEM, more power with the AEM that I can FEEL. TRD sounded alot better though.

Im def happy with the TRD but i would love to def test out another intake to see if it makes little more power. TRD Def does sound hella sweet .

TRD doesn't seem to have enough benefit for the ridiculous price tag. The only thing that it has of any value is its CARB legal which 99% of people on here don't care about.

Def True, I got my intake for free so i cant compalin about the price. If i had to pick another intake i would get the Tenzo-R or Weapon-R Cold Air Intake. CARB legal is a plus for those who care weather or not its leagal.

I actually though about picking up the weapon r intake, but cant make up my mind between the Cold Air or the Short Ram.

I also heard that AEM and Injen cant be used on Automatics, is this true?

Im happy with the TRD intake but really thats all I've known, I have an Injen intake on my TC and it seems a little but more quicker on take off, which is weird cause I have a full exhaust system, but thats more midrange performance i guess...I might just buy the Weapon -R....

Injen and aem can be used on the auto' s

I have the trd and just love it, I raced a another xB with the injen and we were both the same I just pulled a bit not much guessing cause of my exhaust.

Cold air all the way, short ram is nice but much rather have a cold air set up.

i have a question

i installed the injen SRI cause didnt have enough time or another person to help with the CAI..

everything went fine works good it screms over 3000 rpm

However sometimes it makes like a high pitch noise under 3000rpms like there air coming out.i checked everything..all nice and tight is this normal when you first install it

when the cars not moving i rev it up its fine

that high pitch whistle is just air getting sucked in no problem though.
injen was the best for the tc, so why wouldnt it be the same for the xb2? im sure they tried as hard and have worked with that motor quit a bit. if your looking for power and looks than the injen is the one you want. its a bit more but its worth it.
