yea it actually sounds cool like a blow off valve noise but with a higher pitch noise which only does it under 3000 rpms after that theres a nice deep growl to it..sounds amazing...i noticed a big difference also...

other then that looks a sounds good

what difference is there between legal and illegal in regards to the intakes?

i mean...would a cop pull me over and tell me to get it removed?

it's not like an exhaust where the emissions people could fail me because of it right?

the injen CAI on ptuning is 267...is that a good price?

there no legal intakes for the tc's..cops wont pull you over unless its for another reason and if you just have and intake cop wont look under the hood....there no reason too...

as long as there no CEL you should be fine....

injen cai as the best gains for the tc 267 sounds like a decent price

If you have strict emissions controls in MD then TRD is the way to go, BUT it is expensive and a little more restrictive then Injen/Fujita/AEM/Tenzo CAI's...

Anyone have any Dynos or gains in power??

my gf is looking to get the new xB

I have an 06 tC with injen CAI and she LOVES the sound ..

too bad theres no carb legal intake for the tC because i threw away my stock intake so im screwed when i need to smog

So for her we'll probably get the TRD intake...

so dynos or "claimed" power gains anyone ?

how much slower is the xB compared to the tC ?

My car wont be raced, but the extra power is nice at times. Anyone see any mpg gains or decreases with the CAI? I know mpg generally tends to decrease because of the lead foot , just wondering how it effects normal driving mpgs (if it does)

I have an 08 xB With TRD Intake and just love it.

Power added was about 7 HP and about 7 TQ last time it was on a dyna pack.
After i added my Tsudo exhaust went up another 4 HP and TQ, Now im working on getting rid of the Scuba Tank and replace it with a hi-flow set up and maybe a header.

As for the xB being slower than a tC def not. I ran a tC with the same set up and we were neck and neck with no problems, Both run's were done from a dig and a Roll.

Friend of mine back in NY has a 09 xB with Injen intake and it def sound's good and look's good and def has a nice power feel. But the TRD is alot louder when under heavy load.

ZOMBIE THREAD! Anyone run the AFE stage II intake? It looks nice, has a heat shield and is only around $220 on ebay. Almost an "OEM+" look...which I love.

Then you should become a sponsor, and post a thread in the Classified Sponsor Sales forum.

It's an easy way to make a lot of sales, if indeed you do have the best prices. Just handle your sales through PM and PayPal, and you shouldn't have any "burn-out" problems.
