Cool Air Induction and tC engin mod compatability

Of course the will be CAI options eventually. It is pretty early to be expecting full blown aftermarket support.

At the Scion Backstage event in Louisville, I arrived early and listened in as a Backstage presenter explained all the TRD items to the dealer salespeople and mechanics. The TRD CAI is a very long thing, coming around from the backside of the engine, and ending a special airbox, not a bare filter. The Backstage guy said the TRD CAI and muffler add only a few HP, and said their effect could not be felt. Then he proceeded to present the supercharger kit, which adds 50 HP for $3200 and 6 hours of shop labor.
