press and hold the button for 10 secs (or so) at a complete stop and a second light ( VSC OFF ) will turn on. that will turn it off completely until you press the button again or turn off the engine.

It shouldn't if you did it right. I finally tried it this weekend and boy does it feel like a whole different car :D. No more bogging when you try to get on it. I turned it back on though, the tires won't last long had I left it off LOL.

You can find this in your Owner's Manual. To turn off TRAC / VSC: make sure vehicle is at a complete stop.
TRAC:
To turn off TRAC, press the "VSC Off" button, on your instrument pannel, it will show you the sign for the TRAC, this is to let you know that TRAC is turned off. TRAC will turn back on after 30 secs, or a certain speed is reached.
VSC:
To turn off VSC, press the "VSC OFF" button twice, holding it in the second time for 3 seconds. On your instrument panel, it will show both TRAC and VSC off. While in this funtion, both will stay off until you press the VSC OFF button again, or turn the vehicle off.
