Agreed, the fuel widget is cool but useless and inaccurate. Good news is I drove it like I stole it this last tank, all commuting/city driving and got 22mpg...go figure, it's getting better.

Okay, I've owned this almost 6 months now and can say I've worked up to a solid and repeatable 25mpg commuting/city driving and just shy of 30mpg on the highway... tachometer below 3k cruise at 71 or below. I can live with that, I didn't buy it for fuel economy I bought it because I like it. Wife still thinks I'm nuts, I love this little car and enjoy driving it.
I'm guessing my original fuel mileage was so poor because the car was 5 years old with very low miles apparently not driven much, probably had crapped up fuel system.
