I wish it was stiffer in the summer lol. I love it in winter but when things warm up it gets too soft for me and the damn engine rock comes back...

You can't get poly much stiffer than 88A. Have you considered soild motor mounts? A big rod of solid aluminum welded into the GGP mount might provide what you're looking for.

IMO the problem here is trying to limit engine movement by replacing one of four soft mounts with one stiff mount. That's probably why Nurspec/GGP went with hockey puck poly. Ideally all 4 mounts should be stiffened to a level that limits engine movement while still absorbing enough vibration to remain tolerable for DD.

Anyway, it's good to know that this MM is tolerable for some with MT's. This might be what Mach-Box is looking for. It was totally unacceptable on my AT XB.

:UPDATE:

Energy Suspension poured the softer inserts today. They need a few more hours to cure and will be shipped out (to me) tomorrow morning. I have the boxes and labels ready for a quick turn around.

Geoff, you are the man! You've really gone above and beyond to address this issue. I really appreciate what you're doing and look forward to doing business with you a lot more in the future. Thanks again!

Inserts came in today. Not enough time to get them back out, but they will be sent out first thing tomorrow morning. You are going to love them!

I saw the "set" terminology........are these inserts that will be able to be put on/into the exisiting stock mount without having to take it off the car? If so, I think I am definately going to have to try these, even though I said I was not going to do this to this car.

I used to think the GGP MM had one solid poly insert until I took mine apart. It's actually 2 inserts pressed into the mount.

The GGP motor mount replaces the soft oem front engine mount with a firmer mount designed to limit engine movement during hard acceleration, thus reducing wheel hop and providing better shifting for MTs. It can be installed in under an hour with basic tools and costs < $150.

Thanks to Geoff at Nurspec I received my new 70A poly inserts today from Fedex. They should have arrived Friday since Geoff sent them 2-day but Fedex screwed it up and owes Geoff some money back. Anyway the timing was perfect since I was off today but worked the weekend and Monday.

My initial impression of the 70A inserts is very favorable. I still feel extra vibration but it's not nearly as severe as it was with the 88A inserts. I think I can live with these. I'll add more after living with them for a few days and testing their effectiveness at reducing wheel hop. I only drove a dozen miles on them today.

Once again, big props to Geoff and Nurspec for outstanding products and customer service second to none!

Although the disassembly and reassembly of the MM and on-car installation are very easy, I plan to put up a DIY soon. But for now a few pics:

Old 88A inserts on left, empty mount and bushing center and new 70A inserts on the right

The MM assembled with new 70A bushings

Thanks! That's what my car used to do everytime I came to a stop with the 88A inserts and thank god I didn't need AC that week. With these 70A inserts it's not nearly as bad even with the AC on. When in neutral or park, it's not bad at all and I hear that poly bushings break in a little over time.

I just can't say enough about Nurspec's stellar customer service.
