Large Evap Leak Smoke Test Demo and Advice Request
Have large evap leak code. Replaced gas cap. No. Replaced charcoal canister. No. Did smoke test, cap still leaked (plugged canister as needed). Replaced with OEM cap, leak stopped. Still had code.
Ran another smoke test. Made a video of it. If anyone wants to see how to rig their own smoke test, this might interest them. It shows that gas cap leaks properly (if canister not plugged, it's supposed to). No other leak.Tests PCV, clicks, works. May replace anyway.
Any advice?
Can't seem to link video in "Manage Attachments" so here's the link:

I am having similar problems figuring out what to do now.
Your video is awesome in how you got to do a smoke test for just stuff you had lying around the house.
Also one can purchase a cheap $1 cigar and tubing and just puff on a cigar a few times to realize where a leak is.
I'm wondering if you were ever able to figure out what was causing the code to trip?
