Default P0607 Code, check eng went on then off?

I hope someone can help.

My 2008 xb has almost 130k on it. Friday morning I started the car, and move about 500 feet and my check engine light went on. I drove it to the dealer, and they gave me an appoint in the afternoon. So I went to Advance Auto to check the code and they found it to be "P0607" PCM. But they did not cleared it, because I told them I was taking to Toyota. But just after driving a bit the light went off. Then when I took it the Toyota they did not find the code, they thought it was cleared by Advance. I told no. They told me just to bring it back if happens again. So, I replaced the Plugs, new battery and checked all the wires.
The car drives, but now I am worried, why would it done that.
Could it be just maybe someone put something in my exhurst pipe as a joke?
It feels like it.

Any ideas?

Thank you in advance.

I wouldn't worry too much unless the code reappears although you could start searching for a used replacement ECU just in case. Replacing the battery may have already solved the problem.

You're welcome. In the future you can usually find any OBD code info by simply googling the code. That's all I did.

Another thing to try if the code reappears is to disconnect your main wiring harness from the ECU (under the hood, behind the battery) and spray all the contacts with electrical parts cleaner. Just be careful not to force things when re-attaching the harness. It goes easy when properly lined up. Good luck.
