Default Upgraded camshafts.

So, do they actually do anything for our car or is it just not worth it? I read a few topics about this issue and there are a LOT of conflicts between if it works or not, etc. The only cams for our car as of now seem to be the BC cams..

They work, but it all comes down to what other mods you have to compliment it. I doubt your gonna get 30 whp with just cam and tune. Camshafts are great if you have head work done like port n polish, valve springs and valves bigger intake manifold and good tune. The only problem is you would have spent alot of money and prob only gotten half the power you could have if you went lets say turbo. But if na power is what you want then camshafts are a good mod, but not alone. I hope that makes sense, lol.

they make them for the tc's engine, so they would probably work on the xb.

the problem is that they are expensive to build, buy and install, and you have to retune the car afterwards.

they make them for n/a, turbo and ripp mods has one for the supercharger, but the gains just don't seem to be very substantial so not alot of people do it. if your tearing down and rebuilding an engine, then yeah, cams are worth doing, but otherwise, no.
