Toyo claims 100k, and the dealer was pretty stubborn on this when I discussed the concept and my disbelief. After doing some more reading, Im surely not confident in going that long, so I was just wondering if any of you have driven in to the Scion dealer and had them change it at some other interval than 100k. I'd assume they wouldn't refuse, and since they dont warranty past 60k, im not to keen on caring what they say.
I was thinking every 50k.
I was thinking every 50k.
i go by the good old saying every 30k or when burnt or dirty...also i wouldnt use anything but ws in it. its a lower viscosity fluid and always better safe then sorry...

Yeah, Im pretty much of the mindset I gotta stick with the WS, same in my Hyundai and the Diamond stuff the use. Difference between the two is that Hyundai recommends every 30k miles
Toyota WS is synthetic. The only alternatives I've found are Red Line D6, Duradrive MV and Amsoil LV. There may be more by now. I wish I knew if we really need low viscosity ATF or if Toyota switched simply for improved fuel economy. I'd prefer to run normal viscosity ATF but since I don't know what they may have changed in the tranny, I'll stick with WS.
