Default xB Short Shifters . . .

Which is better: under hood or in cabin?

The under hood looks considerably more involved than an xD with a lot more gear to move out of the way. Anybody got an idea of what a dealer would charge for such an install?

Does the in cabin shift as well as the under hood? How about install and dealer costs?

I've driven a few xB2s and owned an xB1. It may be time for a larger car but I have never owned an automatic. The xB2's shifter is unacceptable to be polite.

Thanks.

There is only one short shifter for the xb2 and that's the trd one (as far as I know). The NST bushings tighten the feel when shifting and the trd reduces the throw.
