Confirmed: TRD Supercharger for xB2 listed
Part Number: PTR41-52080
(application for both AT and MT, no fit kit listed yet, so it may not be required)
Retail: $3,200.00 +tax
It's being loaded into the Toyota parts warehouses, so you may not actually see one in a dealership for a few weeks.
Once I have a couple in hand I'll make a special similar to the tC 07 charger.

Couple of questions:
1. I assume this will require premium gas?
2. What will the dealer install cost be? Estimate?
3. Estimated horsepower increase is to what exactly? I heard 200-210?
4. Does it come with it's own different intake? Perhaps a cold air intake? Or just a heavy-duty filter?
Thanks.

1. Yes. Premium has is the recommended choice.
2. Dealer installlations will vary. For instance, our installation is normally $648.00 for the charger ($499. for SL members going through me, includes 1 day rental vehicle). Some dealers normally charge $500 and I've heard as much as $1200 (ouch)
3. The horsepower will come in at about the same seen in the tC. 200-212hp
4. It's likely to just have the intake hose length and intake box changes with a hi-flow filter. This will be verified once I get the kit in.

The PTR41-21070 comes up with a description including "TC". The PTR41-52080 number isn't injected in the dealership's systems yet. It's only viewable if your parts guy has access to the dealer site. =P Tell them to check the warehouse stock and they'll see the part number's existance.
Still no release date yet... the number even was pulled from my source after I posted this (oops? lol)
For the most part, it should be a main tC kit with slight differences for fitment into the xB. I've been checking availability every few days... still no good news though.

A stop sale simply means that it's not being released yet for a reason. The reasons are usually:
1. Populating the warehouses
2. Found a problem, so they are fixing it before release/re-release.
3. Random other reasons
4. Part is discontinued, but with other circumstances. This will return a "MFG DISC" message when attempted to order though... so it's rare.
The best example were the xB spoilers. They were on stop sale for a little while to populate the 'port' for installation there... and dealer installed ones were basically set back a little bit.
The 4.0L 1GR-FE supercharger is also on stop sale, but they just started populating the warehouses with it.
All "stop sale" item orders are automatically cancelled, so it may seem like it's discontinued, but it's not =P
I'll see if we can get confirmation from Scion over here.
