damn . . . I am jealous of all you turbo guys! especially Homer hitting those impressive numbers on a daily driven xb!!! thats so crazy. i spent all my money on air runner, five axis, rims, crazy deck, and exhaust. looks good but I want more power . . . but I bet in a few months after getting use to the turbo you guys will start to think like that again, "more power!!" haha. anyways man, good luck on the build, post some pics of the parts you got so far.

The project began yesterday, we have already ran into some problems not big but slowed us down. The turbo is a Greddy T3/T4, it came with an internal wastegate so I was planning on just useing that for now, but the wastegate was hitting the motor and the mani could not go on all the way. Well good thing my friend is a welder and we custom fab the bracket to the wastegate so we could make that work.... Then we finally get back from his shop around 11:00 last night..... well im sure yall seen homer and his downpipe pics, but having a internal wastegate it comes with a v-band type downpipe. I have only so much room to work with. The coolant line is sitting right there pretty much against the v-band and the car had to go to the exhaust shop today. When I get to the shop the guy looks at the turbo and says no way he can make that bend. So I thought well I guess Ill order my external wastegate now and just wait another week, but I need my car. The guy said to leave my car with him and he will see what he can do. He made it happen, I went back and saw what he did and it will work, but he kept the car over night to finish in the morning so today was kinda a waste cause he had the car all day and yesterday the bracket took forvever. Here are some pics tho but tomorrow alot will be going down and way more pics.

Well......... The car is almost done, pretty much everything is put back together. I havent put a base map on the FIC yet, will hopefully do tomorrow but Im havin problems with the software finding the FIC. Also my friend needs to fab a coolant line adapter at his job tomorrow, since I have the v-band the line got in the way so, he will make a new one. and thats pretty much it. Hopefully I will have it runnin tomorrow. I will post pics soon.

Here are some more pics, hopefully the car will be done today after I get off work. My friend needs to finish up the muffler and tips. Its a sick set up. Will post pics when finished, prob one of my most fav things that is done with the car. The gauges will finally go in today and load the FIC and that is it. Its rainy pretty bad but hopefully it ends by the afternoon. The other day it rained so the manifold has a few water spots on it, so it looks pretty bad in the pics.

Well I have good news and bad news. The car is done but when I went to start it, you can hear it cranking but the car would not turn on. Anyone have this problem after there install? We were guessing that the fuel pump wasnt primed cause the car has just been sitting there for a week now, but then my buddy looked in the engine bay and saw the oil feed line was leaking, so he went to tightin it and it broke the treads right off the adapter. So I just ordered a new line, I was planning on getting one anyways but didnt think this fast so with the weekend here, prob wont recieve till early next week. Thanks for all the comments. Here are some more pics........

It justs sounds like it wants to crank kinda like if your battery is dead and your getting a jump but the car wont start. I only cranked it a couple of times, then we noticed the leak and I didnt try anymore. My other friend had kinda the same problem, he felt cause he put new injectors and the fuel wasnt there and he had to prime his fuel pump. I will just have to see next week when I get the new line but any inputs would be great. Thanks
