Alright, I know some of you are turboed already. Just trying to get a feel of who is, and how it was putting everything together. I'll be going turbo sometime in March when i get my bonus, I've already started accruing parts.

Nice one! My old man's a CPA, so I probably enjoyed that more than most.

 

I am an Accountant so i kind of wonder if people not in the industry use terms like accrue or depreciation...

 

haha, nah, i'm not an accountant but i've taken more than my fair share of accountant classes, so i guess the accountant jargon tends to creep into everyday language.

I guess there's nothing to say about anyone being turboed yet?

i know theres at least 1 person whos already turboed

 

Ya the turbo kits for the 2nd gen are not really out there yet... TT makes one but i think it takes a long time to get it... not really sure...

how many lbs of boost do you run coryjames? how is the overall experience with the turbo? like the car with or without the turbo better

There are others and some of us who are just still waiting on parts. I bet if there were pnp fuel management solutions more folks would jump on board. I hope to be boosted within the next few months If I get all my stuff.

yea, pnp would be nice. it doesn't look lik its gonna happen in time for me to go turbo.

I know a bunch of you are waiting on turbo toyota since like last june or something crazy.

me and a couple of my friends are just gonna make our own turbo kit. I'm gettin the garret T3/T4 soon from a friend who's rockin an evo now.

theres still a couple things i gotta get so it prolly won't be until late march-ish. we'll see tho

i just bought the turbo and the turbo timer and i already have the greddy e-manage and pressure sensor

it's all slowly but surely comin together

 

mine is a custom a custom turbo toyotas lol; as in im the only one with it lol

 

We did a TT kit on a corporate car we built for Scion back in April of 2008.....

 

haha, thats true. i actually reallllllly like the way yours looks. the color of those pipes came out great and i love that you did a frontmount. how did you put your guages?
