1. trd supercharger for scion tc's and 2nd gen xb's is discontinued. only place you could get one is if somebody has one in stock somewhere on a shelf/warehouse.

2. average gain is 40-50 whp.

3. there is no header made for the xb from TRD.

4. trd exhaust is mainly for sound, and not much performance gain.

5. buying a used supercharger is fairly pointless because it will void your powertrain warranty rather than become part of your powertrain warranty when installed by a toyota/scion dealership.

6. i realize your choices of performance mods are limited living in california, but i suggest looking into something else than a trd supercharger at this point.

specific reason? well it was a piece of sh*tt for starters. too many problems arose from owning one (goes out for everybody who has owned one, except i think drax i think was the only good one out there lol) but another thing is bc of the economy.

and is it worth it? definatly not. im pretty sure ur xb if its auto/manual will dyno at 125-130 for auto and 140-145 for 5spd. a SC on an automatic car is just about useless and ull be spending 2k plus for about 30 hp and ull be lucky to even dyno at 160ish. and for a manual maybe around 170/180 if ur lucky again.

yeah my first thought was to go turbo and now i think i just might... but all i plan on doing in exaust header and sc/turbo and tuning maybe eventuallty port and pollish and bore and maybe cams but anyone have dyno stats from their tubo/sc xb with other mods and now the question is what turbo/sc kit i was looking at turbonetics or greddy but both a bit pricy

since it is the same engine as the tC, all they dyno pulls are still applicable for the second gen xb really.

Turbonetics and Greddy don't make turbo kits for the XB2. Your current choices are World Racing (Descendant), Treadstone/Ancla, CX Racing and Turbo Toyotas. Of these, I'd only recommend World Racing and Treadstone/Ancla. The CXR manifold is garbage, their turbo questionable and TT is not the least bit trustworthy. TT offers a good kit if you ever receive it, which is questionable.

don't boost on a budget. u have to take into consideration u need to pay to tune, to install etc. and for watever problems arise from having a kit. ur not gonna get a brand new GOOD kit for under 4k

The PnP World Racing kit is a pretty good deal at $4250. It even comes with a pre-tuned FIC map. I started with the CXR kit ($1200) but with gauges, new manifold, custom downpipe for the new mani, Tial WG, FIC, PnP harness, etc., the total cost is getting close to $4000.
