Default Turbo setup

So we have a set of stock porsche 996 turbos laying around. They are t3/t4 turbos.

To build a turbo kit what would it take to fit?

You would need to make a custom kit with all the standard necessary turbo components....then figure it out from there. Not much really to say.

A lot of time, work and money. If you're really interested in boosting your XB you should call Descendant and FastScions. XB2 turbo kits aren't exactly in high demand and I suspect that they might sell you a bolt-on kit minus the turbo for a reasonable price.

However, there are a lot of very different T3/T4 turbos out there. Do you know the specs for those turbos? They might be fine or totally wrong for your application.

Mine as well just buy a kit from Dezod or PTuning cause by the time you build up the whole kit, you will have spent pretty close to the same amount. Piecing together a turbo kit with a bunch of parts that were not all once together on the same setup, really takes a lot of time. From my experience, i built up my first kit over 3 months....took 3 days to put the damn thing on..and that was my 3rd time turboing a car. Not to mention i have a lift, and a very wide selection of tools. So it will be quite the pain in the butt to piece one together.

I think what my man is saying is you should take a look at / consider the WORLD-Motorsports / Descendant turbo kit.

Y'all seem to have a different turbo on every kit. What is your base turbo?

We have had the same size turbos on all the Vband kits. Its a custom made unit to our specs that will handle 375whp.
