haha, thanks bro, just got the stuff welded on my lunch at work. lol. so i am painting them tonight / tomorrow.

Turbo was used in shop on his test vehicle. So yea cory your right. The kit was in the sales forum a couple months back. i called and talked to him a couple times and then i paid for it. he said he needed to fab up the charge pipes and stuff to convert to an xb. he did and sent it out. i wanted the pipes raw so i can do my own thing with them.

i was going to hit it with high temp black, but i was wondering if it will stick under high heat. the paint is good up to 2000 degrees. what do you think? but yea rust looks ____ty. lol.

I got my parts a couple weeks ago. i was in chicago with my girl, so i wanted to wait till i got back to do the kit. i got the mani, tubo and almost everything besides the innercooler pipping about a month or so ago. and like i said i talked to todd, and he said it would be a while if i waned him to finish the flange on the maf and the bov, so i told him i would take care of it. so i got those pipes maybe 2 weeks ago. maybe more.

Last night was pretty good on our end. Got all the wiring ran and done for all 3 gauges. The t fitting on the oil feed line seems too big, it ends up only turning once before not wanting to go anymore. So i need to hit up the store around here and see what i can find. I threw on the 3" exhaust and the dp still doesnt match up perfectly. So i decided to mock up the down pipe and mod that to meet the 3" exhaust. Also changed out the oil pan for the pre tapped pan. Then i ran all the vacuum lines to the vacuum block.

Okay this is my only question, why have a i read that its not great to run the waste gate off the vacuum block? Seems thats as good as any place to get a solid vacuum reading. Thanks.

run open dp till you get to the exhaust then fab the cxr cause if it gets messed up you can get a new one dont know about the down pipe

i am not tying the dump tube back in to the exhaust. i am just going to dump under the car. as for the down pipe, it just needs a little love.

Any ideas on the wastegate? can i hook the vaccum line up to the vacuum block?

Looks like we got most of everything done last night. Everything is painted, gages work, oil fittings are on, everything is pretty much done, we just have to put the pipes back on. we painted last night so we needed to wait for them to dry. so i will post pictures tonight when everything is together.

Also if anyone has a boosted map for the AEM Fic that they could send to me that would be great. I am running 650 injectors.
