man me and carlos went engine shopping today while we wher out trying to sell off my nissan altima.....for an 07 up 2azfe long block from the local junkyards everyone of them wanted at least 2g's....oh well i did find a junkyard thats got a few tc's in it so at least i know where i can get parts locally
a guy here has one fully dressed asking 1000 for it i just got my motor out what a pain by yourself and joy here are some pics i think i found what was wrong with my old motor tell me what you think?

but in seriousness it looks like it could be patched......prolly not the best idea if your not very good with aluminum welding but could be done. i just wonder how it effects the overall structural integrity of the block....im no engineer thats why i ask.
