Are ZEX nitrous kits potentially universal?

Run away! Even a "baby bottle" kit specifically designed for your car is a very risky proposition unless you spend the necessary money to obtain a safe and reliable kit. The problem with nitrous is that you're adding extra oxygen without adding extra fuel which results in a lean condition. Lean burn = high EGT = burnt pistons. Well, that's a dry kit. A wet kit should be better but they still have to be carefully calibrated or you run the same risk. A wet kit adds fuel (gas) but as it poorly measured with no dynamic adjustment, it is still fairly risky. A safe dry kit could add as much as 25hp and a properly tuned wet kit could safely add 75hp or possibly more.
