How do I remove the HVAC control panel? I got as far as removing the panel on the shifter when I went ahead and started to pull on the HVAC panel the top seems to be on very tight and I didn't want to risk breaking anything.

Is there something else I need to remove before removing the HVAC panel or is it a snap on like the shifter panel?

 

If I recall correctly, you need to remove the panel around the radio first. Just start from one side and pull it towards you. Once that's off, you will see a couple of bolts under the radio/above the hvac and that should be it.
