What does Garage is empty, Add now mean?

Hello, I am new to the forum and have a question. I have searched around to see if the tC steering wheel will fit an xB2? Reason I ask is I am a paraplegic and mine has been converted to hand controls. I need a little more room under the steering wheel to maneuver my legs in and out. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

 

It will fit, but doesn't line up exactly right, the rear notches in the back of the steering wheel which lines up the wheel is different. It will give you a traction control light on your dash because the steering wheel won't be true center.

 

Couldn't that be fixed with a steering calibration in Techstream?

 

I am not sure you can fix the alignment of the steering wheel to the clock spring and column. The notches on the back are totally different. When I use to have my tC steering wheel on the trac control warning light stayed on. There are certain year RAV4 and 04-09 Lexus RX steering wheel have the same notches on the back of the steering wheel, you’re better off finding one of those used and installing it, they will line up properly. And probably feel better, better leather and all.
