adding an amp?

Default adding an amp?

ok before I break something wanted to ask those that have done it how did you get to the rear of the stereo to plug in your rca cables?? Thanks Jakalope

You have to take the stereo out in order to plug them in. If you have the stock HU you will have to use a line out convertor and tap into the speaker wires to create RCA outputs for the amp. Then you tap into the ignition wire for the remote. If you have an AM HU then it will already have the RCA jacks and the harness will already have the wire for the remote.

very easy to remove h/u do a search, but basically you pop off trim panel by hand and remove 4 screws

When you say "stock hu" dou mean tha basic or the premium??
