Adding usb inputs for charging. front and rear
My entire family has cell phones and tablets. On long travels, these devices serve several purposes, BUT, in my new 2013, I only have one, which is in the console.
How do I go about installing usb inputs for charging only, in the front ( I believe there is a spot right to the right of the shifter) and at least 2 in the back.?
Maybe I would need to install more charger sockets (cigarette lighter sockets)? If so, can you post up pics?
Thanks in advance

Here is one that a guy on ClubxB did recently. Too many visible components and wires for me but it works.

Basically you need to tap power from the cigarette lighter and use multiple output USB splitters. Easily doable, just have to get the right parts.
I like the look of something like this.

i was thinking of running a 6-8 gauge wire from the battery with an inline fuse into the cabin, hooked up to a power distribution block
From there, the possibilities are endless, like 12v in the door arm rests and dash.
Im looking for at least another 3-4 outlets.
thanks for the post btw

I did this mod a few years ago. I ended up adding a cigarette lighter in the passenger side cubby, one next to the mirror controls on the drivers side, and one on the back side of the center console. Easily the most useful mod i've done to date.
