Just a few 3mm leds shinin' the heavenly light on my a/c *****, haha. hey what the heck had some 3mm's layin around, silicone, wires, =)

matches my cathodes and interior lighting =]

what the hell??? that I need to see with a cleaner closer up picture!! That looks prommisingI I gotta tell ya, that sounds like a good idea, but I got to see it better.. can you take better pictures.//??? thanks.... .. jh

reminds me of the red lights that newer BMWs have shining into random places.

jimmbomb: i think the lights are mounted in the plastic piece under the head unit. they look like they are shining down onto the AC *****.

Yeah sorry for the crappy pic, but yeah like he said i am going for the newer style in the bmw which has mounted lights in random places, just adding sum nice lights where things should be displayed with a focus on em. But im really aiming for lighting on the upper dash of the xb since its so freaken dark in our cars haha. im working my way up, but yeah this pic was taken with a phone and basically all it is, 3 holes drilled and mounted 3mm leds with some silicone. I'll take pix if you really want some.

cliffs: 3mm leds in 3 drilled holes under the headunit, not goin for anythin flashy, just a clean simple look.

Usually have to front lit lights on the gauges.. instead of back light on most newer cars...

anyone have pics on how the whole dash comes out? as well as side panels where the side air bags are? ive only taken off the drivers side panel an gauge face... to see where i can start runnin my led's into for the a/c vents. but havnt really taken the dash out. any help would be great.
