Wow that is nice!

One of the things I really like about the Pioneer AVIC units is the iPod touch screen controls and this unit appears to have a similar interface.

That is a really nice piece of equipment but the lack of Bluetooth and lack of the ability to add a backup camera (per Randode) are pretty much deal killers for me.

Will the nav system display video if you have an ipod video?

I am "considering" taking my xB back and purchasing the nav system upgrade ... but I would "definitely" take it back for the nav system upgrade if it can display video from the video ipod.

 

No, you cannot play video.

I have not figured out how to make it display album art either.

I can confirm that album art is not displayed on the SNS.

I happen to like Foreigner, my dad raised me right dangit!

I'm jealous because it lets you sort by genre unlike the premium unit. I had to make specific playslists for each genre on mine once I found out that for some stupid reason the premium unit didn't give me the option. Other than the playlist thing the only other option was to turn off the stereo and set iPod control to on, which almost defeats the purpose of the dedicated iPod cable.(Almost because the iPod cable charges while a simple input jack does not)

 

IMO i think my ipod screen looks a little more stylish
