i assume you cant because the dealer installed this for me instead of the SNS. if there was an adapter, my dealer probly would've used it. besides, you can keep your ipod in the glove compartment with the 6620 adapter. out of site since you wont be touching it anyways.

It might be possible but I just pulled the plug out and left it inside the console to return to stock if needed. I used the eclipse I pod kit.

I'm starting to think of getting an AVN6620. Can you change the button color from anything other than green? I read the manual online and couldn't find a thing. Also, will the GPS antenna be fine in the OEM spot (a special "shelf" for behind the dash). Thanks.

How did you guys deal with the tCover after the avn6620 install? I took mine off but it looks pretty ugly with that gap. I'd like to put that cover back on or is there a dash kit that would bring the 6620 up forward and make it flush with the waterfall dash.

the tc cover? you should probably ask in the tc section.. we all have xb's here in the xb forum.. but no there's not a kit to get rid of the cover.. the cover should fold down.. if not.. modify the brackets to set the unit back slightly until you get it far enough back to close the cover

You dont need a dash kit. Its a bolt in with the OEM brackets. You just need the Toyota filler peices on the L&R. I will look up the number later.
Hey lasstss,

You say VSS code, is that the same as the "VSC off" light coming on? If so, is the purple wire on the harness to the head unit?

Thanks!

Look this over for the location

Also, if you want to make changes to your GPS while driving, ground the parking brake wire seen here, seventh picture down
