nah the thing is hte D3 is awesome but its so....boring... that motorized stuff amuses me. idk i mean im sure they make ones that work just as wel as the d-3 they just happen to move around. idk i still got about 2 months b4 the dough rolls in. so im just reasearching.

not many people like flip-outs anymore. a double is just much cleaner. plus if the passengers wanna watch movies while you're driving (illegal btw) you wont be able to hide it as well since with flip-outs you can see the screen much more easily from outside the vehicle. cops will notice it more when they/you drive by

 

truee. double is clean, but i don't watch movies and if i did. the scion is way low in the car. plus tint coming (way future) and ummm power button???? the avic d-3 is very clean and is my second choice if i can't find a flip out at a good price with the same features.

 

on my old flip-out it took a little bit for the screen to start opening/closing. not long, maybe 2 seconds (it would beep 3 times first). but if you didnt notice a cop early enough you'd be in trouble.

but if thats what you absolutely want, do it.
