I am installing an amp under the front passenger seat. Everythings but i dont know where i should ground it. Whats the closest ground point?? Any help app. Thanks.

 

I dont know if it is a good ground point, but the amp that I have installed under my passeenger seat is grounded under the ebrake. It has never let me down... lol

I was thinking where the seat bolts down. Would that not work?

 

i have mine grounded by the ebrake.

where ever you decide to ground it, make sure to grid the paint away so you get a good ground.

 

I used a self-tapping screw in the metal hump towards the front of the seat, next to the heater duct.

 

There is a bolt just in front of the the rear seat bolt of the front seats. Not the door side, but the inner rear bolts. It is a little bit hidden by the carpet but it makes for a clean looking ground point. I scraped the paint where the contact is made and it works well.
