I couldn't find any documentation on headliner removal and reinstallation. Does anyone have a link to it?

The best I could find was information on the xB1.

My plan is to install sound deadening material up on the ceiling of the car.

oh, and if anyone has install sound deadening material on the ceiling, please comment.... it'd be nice to hear the amount of time you took with what equipment/help, as well as cost and difficulties/things to watch out for.

These are 08 xB files but there's not much real difference between each 2nd gen xB years.

It's a very thorough instruction, for people who want to completely remove the headliner. But if you're just running wires or something, you can just remove the appropriate parts.

Man, thanks for the great link! You weren't kidding when you said it was complicated. It sucks that pretty much the entire door insulation, ABC pillars, and trunk have to be taken apart, just to get to the roof. Seeing that's the case, I may have to take more time off and do the ceiling and floor of the car.

By any chance, would you have the floor removal instructions too?

For floor, remove all the seats...
