Default Installing PT546-00121 to a 2008 xB

My radio function is operational. I want to be able to install a USB port that would connect to the head and have the steering controls operate the volume, mode and stations/tracks.
Of course the harness females that come from the car have different number of pins than the ones on the head.
I could fabricate mine if I had the key to the cables and a male to connect to the car and a female to connect to the head.

Is there anyone that fabricates the harness to convert?

Of course I need the harness to connect to the USB on the head and a conversion harness to the USB.
Also need to add microphone for the Bluetooth function.

Does anyone have a solution to this?

The USB harness in the 08 xB was never designed to support two way functionality, it was for basic playback of an old school iPod. You would need to get the one that is designed for this head unit and replace the original one in the car. I'm not sure on what microphone you would need to use, quite possible that you would need the stock one for this head unit as well depending on the harness for it. I just went to route of replacing the stock radio with an after market that had all of this built in and getting a steering wheel control adapter for it.

Thanks Greg. For now I've decided to not invest in an aftermarket radio. That is what I did to the 2012 the radio came from. So this is a transplant from that car.
