are you able to play ipod video's on the navi unit?

 

On the stock navi idk but I do know that on the Pioneer D3 navi which is way cheaper by the way you can.

No, there are no AV inputs on the SNS

you can use a NAV-TV peice or a similar RGB Video input that can be spliced in the actual screens ribbon cable. We do this all the time to get Backup cameras and DVD players to play on Stock BMW and Mercedes screens. this will give you the Video input you are looking for. you will need to see what is out there as far as AUX inputs to get the Sound into the unit.
