Default LED light strip using the trunk light switch?

anyone run one of those light strips using the existing trunk light as a power source (and have the switch power on/off the strip instead of that weak bulb)?

are there any plug and play kits? I know there is one for the subaru/scion brz.

any help, suggestions, input?

thanks guys

you mean solder?

i just need more light back there and i think a light strip under the trunk lip would be more effective than a brighter bulb
