looking for a good alarm system
remote start is only for automatics. as you can get into trouble with the manuals is you leave them in gear.
i have had two cliffords and one viper in the past. non of them have failed me ever. the first clifford was installed wrong. but that was installer error

The P/N 689M that I referred to is made specifically for manual transmissions. It requires a multi-step shutdown process to ensure the vehicle starts safely afterwards. I have it in my Ford Ranger and it works great. You first need to engage the parking brake while a valid tachometer signal is being sent to the unit, then press remote start button while the car is running. Then open the door and close it.....the remote start shuts down at that point and is safe to re-start until a door is opened again.
