Default My new seats

So, after a year of these seats sitting in my garage, I finally got the brackets to install them. Bad thing was... they sat about 3 inches lower than stock seats. I had to fab up some risers to get them high enough to see over the dash. Other than that, they went in no problem.

Awesome! The xB NEEDS better seats... seats that will hold you through the turns. Im tired of seeing my gf hold on for dear life when I make a turn barely faster than normal... Her car has great seats.

Just make sure you make the rear seats look/match the front seats other wise it'll be just tacky.

But don't get me wrong still looks good. seat belts r 2 bright 4 my taste but overall nice execution

Thanks for the comments everyone!

Eh, the seats are moderately comfortable. I'm not looking forward to the 6 hour drive I have coming up next month.

The harness is bolted to the floor using the two rear bolts for the seat bracket.

I love the red belts. They match the exterior of the car.

Only way to make the back seat match is to have seat covers made, which IMO is way more tacky. I hate those things.

That is not exactly true. I have the racing seats and I am 260 lbs and 5'9". So just depends on what seats you get as to how you fit..

Some seats are wider than others. I have Corbeau CR1s and they say they hold up to a 36" waist... but they also offer a "wide" version. Well, they actually offer a "wide" version of almost all of their seats.

Can you get any pics of how the harness is mounted though? There are safe and unsafe ways to mount those up... I'm just curious how you're running them.
