Default My solution for the "sliding" shelf

I got tired of having everything fly out of the shelf over the glove compartment every time I took a corner so I decided to put in some non-slip pads. I know there are some pre-cut pads you can get, on ebay, but I thought I could make my own pretty fast. I used shelf liner, like for the kitchen. Its not the paper stuff but rather its a sorta rubber material in a waffle pattern. It actually wound up matching the faux carbon fiber look of the interior pretty well. It doesnt use glue so it wont get gunk all over if I decide to take it out.

Pictures of the shelf. I also cut a piece for the little cup/bin on the left of the steering wheel. Got tired of crap rattling around in there.

Clever fix. I think I'll be doing that.
