Hey guys, I'm looking to do a fairly inexpensive DIY mod on my interior. I was wanting to take the silver plastic pieces and pair them piano black, with a decent clearcoat. I was wondering if anyone has done this? Is it difficult to take the pieces off and then reinstall them? And I'm assuming I need to sand them, but can anyone recommend a paint and clearcoat?

Just did mine all flat black. Prior to that, they were gloss black. Just used some Rust Oleum painters touch and krylon gloss clear. Held up for 1.5 years before i repainted it
(not due to scratches, just because i wanted it flat)
