Default Replacing door speakers question

For those of you who have replaced the door speakers in the front and the back, what have you used for adapter rings.

I see elemental designs has some, but they were designed for the front doors on the previous gen xB. I was planning on ordering some speakers soon, and was wondering if they would fit or not. If not, what have you used, i'm not handy w/ wood so making my own doesn't seem like an option.

Thanks

you could always get your speakers from crutchfield like i did. they come with the brackets and adapters so it makes the job a lot easier. the prices aren't half bad either for what you get.

My Polks came with adapter rings that worked out in the front and the rear. You might want to wait until you get your speakers to see if it will all work out before getting spacers. The ones that came with my db6501 and db651 speakers are very much like the ones Crutchfield gives you. I actually bought 4 MDF rings that I didn't end up using. They're just sitting in the garage now.
