Does anyone know if the 2010 headunits work in the 2008 year and is there a a different wireharness

hey,, i was also in the market for the new unit so i went to scion here in nyc and asked them the very same question ,, they were not sure so they said they would get back to me i left my number. as soon as i get a response ill let u know.

I believe the 2010 units are wired for the new USB/iPod connection & AUX jack, whereas the 2008-2009 units are wired for the iPod-only connection & AUX jack. From other threads on this forum it looks like the stereo will work except for the iPod and maybe the AUX jack. Read around in the ICE forums and there is more about this from people with first hand experience.
