Scion xB Navigation unlock?

How do I unlock the navigation system so i have full control when the vehicle is moving?

There is no simple touch-screen unlock code, but these are the threads that cover randode's navi system hack to override the parking brake and speed sensor lockouts:

On page 1 of the first thread, randode describes the hack step by step.
The second thread has a DIY with pictures, just ignore the subwoofer portion.
