Stock HU Help
What's up guys! Looking for some opinions on what headunit to go with.
When I bought my 08 it had an aftermarket single din unit in it. I took that out, bought a tablet, modified the bezel and have been using that as a HU. It worked great for a while, but the battery life sucks now and I do miss having a real FM tuner. Here's what I'm thinking:
- Get a new bezel and another factory HU. If I go this route, what years have the best HU?
- Get a new bezel and get a aftermarket HU with dvd player.
- Modify my existing bezel a little more, make the tablet a permanent fixture, and hardware the tablet to the car battery so I don't have to worry about it anymore. Going this route I'd still have to come up with something for a FM tuner.
What do you guys think?
