Default Stock stereo system with stock speakers

Hi everyone, I have everything stock in my stereo and yet my rear speakers suck, its like they don't even play, is this normal? I mean I tested it with the balance option with just playing the rear speakers and their really low, their only loud if the head unit is at around 50 volume please anyone have info let me know, thanks

Rear speakers don't need to be as loud/clear as the front speakers. Usually they're back there for "rear fill", which gives the soundscape a larger feel. Usually people put real good speakers in the front, and put decent speakers in the rear, and turn the gain down on the rears so they don't overpower the front. The stock rear speakers in the xB are noticeably less crisp and powerful as the front speakers, but thats normal.

if you dampen the doors, that will make your stocks even better, and you'll be suprised that the stocks could sound that much better!
